Man Utd boss Solskjaer fighting to keep hold of Young

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is coy over talk of Ashley Young leaving for Inter Milan this month.

Solskjaer today discussed Young's proposed exit with Inter Milan keen to bring in the United skipper.

Young is out of contract at the end of the season and is free to talk to foreign clubs but Inter would be keen to bring him in this month.

He said, "He is our captain. We have got to handle the speculation.

"Ashley has been very professional and focused and I don't think that will change.

"He has been very good for this club so let's see where we are in February and June."

Asked if Young will depart before the end of the season, he added: "That is a discussion me and Ash will have if something comes up.

"For us, we haven't got too many players fit and ready so we need the ones we have."
