Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was full of praise for David De Gea, despite his 'unfortunate' error against Everton.
De Gea pulled off a fine stop to deny Dominic Calvert-Lewin with a minute remaining in the 1-1 draw.
The Spaniard was also saved by VAR, who ruled Gylfi Sigurdsson to be offside because he was a distraction to De Gea stopping Calvert-Lewin's stoppage time winner.
"I trust David 100%," Solskjaer said. "He made amends by saving Sigurdsson's shot at the end and it showed that David is the best goalkeeper in the world."
On the mistake, Solskjaer added: "It's something that happens in football once in a while if you take too long on the ball.
"Calvert-Lewin always chases everything and it's unfortunate that it goes in the goal. We responded and got the goal we deserved."
