Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed David De Gea will start against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
There have been calls for De Gea to be dropped after a number of mistakes recently, the latest of which came in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Solskjaer said he was sticking by the Spaniard.
"I would think so, yeah, or he will play," said the Norwegian.
"Sergio [Romero] was injured yesterday so didn't train, tweaked his knee, so David's been training well this week."
The Norwegian added: "He's been fantastic this season.
"Towards the end now he's been in headlines for the wrong reasons but he has to deal with that.
"The goalkeeping department are fantastic, with Emilio [Alvarez], Sergio, Lee [Grant] and David, they've been such a tight-knit group. They've experienced better times than just now but he's ready for Sunday."
