Man Utd boss Solskjaer confident Greenwood and Sancho can play together

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho can play in the same team.

Solskjaer is pushing to sign Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

And the Mirror says Solskjaer believes both Sancho and Greenwood are capable of playing in the same team.

The reason for that viewpoint is the Norwegian thinks Greenwood will end up playing centrally in the long run, having mainly been used as a winger so far.

Greenwood scored 17 goals during his maiden season with the first team but experienced a difficult start to the last campaign, especially after being sent home from international duty.

But he ended the season in electric form, netting five goals from his final 10 matches.
