Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he's well aware of AZ Alkmaar's quality.

United host AZ tonight needing a win to be sure of finishing top of their Europa League group.

"AZ is three points behind Ajax and they will meet each other this weekend," Solskjaer told FOX Sports.

"They have a chance to go top. Ajax had a disappointing match yesterday (against Valencia).

"We have a high opinion of AZ, we have watched many matches. They are a lot better than PSV. We know they have many qualities."

The Norwegian continued: "I know some guys from Norway, such as Jonas Svensson and Fredrik Midtsjo. I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

"The whole team is hard to play against, they have a lot of confidence. You can call it romantic football, I like the way they play the game. It's just a good team."
