Man Utd boss Rangnick on bumper Champions League qualifying bonus

Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick is on a tidy Champions League qualifying bonus.

A 1-0 win over West Ham put them level on points with the fourth-placed Hammers. Marcus Rashford's stoppage-time goal secured a big win for Rangnick's side.

United defeated Brentford in midweek after a slightly disappointing 2-2 draw with Aston Villa last weekend.

Rangnick will earn a hefty pay-day if he secures Champions League football for next season. It will be quite the achievement given the Old Trafford outfit appeared miles off European qualification towards the end of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's tenure.

The Daily Star says United will pay the 63-year-old £500,000 if he finishes in the top four. That is on top of his £180,000 weekly wage.

The former RB Leipzig tactician was appointed on a deal until the end of the season after United parted ways with club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November.
