Manchester United boss David Moyes feels Liverpool's title push this season has been aided by their lack of European football.

United host Liverpool at Old Trafford today.

Moyes said: "Liverpool and Brendan (Rodgers) might have benefited from being out of Europe.

"They've grown in confidence and securing Suarez on a new contract has been a big boost for the club."
