Man Utd boss Mourinho won't get carried away with Martial form

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho won't get carried away with Anthony Martial's current form.

Martial, 22, doubled his tally for the season in the 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Saturday and is now United's joint-leading scorer this term with Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba.

The France international's impacts have convinced Mourinho to drop Alexis Sanchez against West Ham and Newcastle over the last month and Sanchez is unavailable for the visit of Juventus on Tuesday night through injury.

At a pre-match press conference where Mourinho tired of questions linking him with Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from the club for Juve, he requested not to speak about individuals but made an exception for Martial.

"That's individual," Mourinho said. "But I think Martial is like the team, the team is playing fine, Martial is playing fine, is easier for individuals to play when the team is playing well and vice versa. Anthony was involved in two matches where the team scored five goals, where the team played really well and he played well too."
