Man Utd boss Mourinho: We have to depend on ourselves in Europa League

Jose Mourinho says Manchester United must worry about their own results in order to progress to the Europa League's Round of 32.

United lost 2-1 to Fenerbahce on Thursday night which saw them drop to third place on the Group A table with six points from four matches.

The Red Devils are now one point behind Fenerbahce and Feyenoord with fixtures against the latter at home on November 24 and Zorya Luhansk in Ukraine in December still to come.

"We don't depend on the others, we depend on ourselves," said Mourinho of his side's hopes of advancing.

"If we win both games we qualify.

"Even with four points we could qualify, since Feyenoord play Fenerbahce and both sides cannot get maximum points."

Moussa Sow and Jeremain Lens scored stunning goals for the Turkish side before Wayne Rooney pulled one back in the 89th minute as United lost for the second time on the road in this competition this season.
