Manchester United are considering a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Axel Witsel.

Per a report in Het Laatste Nieuws in Belgium, United manager José Mourinho scouted Witsel at a recent national team game.

The central midfielder only arrived at Dortmund this season from China.

He spent a little over a season in China, having moved there from Zenit Saint Petersburg.

Despite the Belgian international's recent arrival, it would be difficult for Dortmund to turn down a big money offer from United.
