Manchester United may have to move away from the idea of signing Toby Alderweireld this summer.
He is the main target for United at center back, but dealing with Tottenham and Daniel Levy is proving an issue.
It appears United will move on to other players. The Manchester Evening News claims United have three other players they are targeting in the position.
MEN has linked United with the likes of Milan Skriniar, Alessio Romagnoli and Caglar Soyuncu.
Soyuncu was linked with Arsenal before they signed Sokratis, while the other two are playing for the two Milan clubs.
It is unlikely United will go with an inexperienced defender, given they have the likes of Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof at the club already.
If they are to sign a center back this summer, it will be someone with the same stature, experience and quality as Alderweireld.
