It's claimed Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho's personal scouting missions this season is because he's lost confidence in his talent spotters.

HLN says since March 2017, Mourinho has been spotted in the stands during international matches - to scout players, but also to meet agents and friends.

In September he attended England-Spain. In October Montenegro-Serbia, then last week he saw Belgium-Iceland.

And the key reason for his personal checks is due to a lack of confidence in what his scouts are telling him.

For the Belgium game, Mourinho was understood to be running his eye over Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld.
