Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has hailed the signing of Eric Bailly.
The 22-year-old Ivory Coast defender has joined United from Spanish club Villarreal on a four-year deal with the option of a further two years.
Ir is believed that the Red Devils have paid in the region of £30million for Bailly but Mourinho suggests that fee will be vindicated by tipping the youngster to become one of the best centre-backs in the world.
"Eric is a young central defender with great natural talent," he told MUTV.
"He has progressed well to date and has the potential to become one of the best around.
"We look forward to working with him to help nurture that raw talent and fulfil his potential. Eric is at the right club to continue his development."
