Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants Aaron Ramsey.

Per the Daily Express, United have a keen interest in the central midfielder who will be out of contract in the summer.

Despite the high wages Ramsey would demand and the failure of Alexis Sanchez since joining from the Gunners in January, United are not dissuaded.

Ramsey is the type of midfielder Mourinho prefers, as he can get in between the lines and score a lot of goals.

The Portuguese boss could see Ramsey filling a similar role to what Frank Lampard offered in his previous Chelsea sides.

United would face competition from the likes of Chelsea and Juventus for Ramsey.
