Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says of the club's transfer policy: "We prefer to bring in two, three, four good players, not interested in buying or selling six or seven, some of whom don't play. We are stable. We think our market will be natural. Some players to leave, some to come."
As regards veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who signed a one-year deal in July, Mourinho is "totally convinced he will stay."
The Portuguese tactician has become aware of a new word, courtesy of Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward, who said there would no longer be a churn of players at Old Trafford.
"Yesterday I had to ask about churn," Mourinho says. "I had no idea. A new word for me. I thank Ed for that. He is completely right. Of course we speak about what next. We know we have a squad that needs changes. But this squad has potential, many of them at a good age."
