Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is considering a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Axel Witsel.

ESPN says United have reignited their interest in Borussia Dortmund's Witsel.

Mourinho was in attendance for Belgium's UEFA Nations League clash with Iceland during the international break.

The United boss watched Witsel win his 100th cap for Belgium in the 2-0 victory with the boss now considering a move during the January transfer window.

Witsel was on the radar in the summer before United spent £52m on Fred. The former Zenit St Petersburg man has has played a key part as Dortmund lead the Bundesliga after 12 matches.
