Man Utd boss Mourinho: Mr Bonucci, Mr Chiellini went to Harvard University for central defenders

Manchester United lost 1-0 at Old Trafford to Juventus in the Champions League, and whilst the scoreline was narrow it did not reflect the superiority of the Italians, a fact acknowledged by boss Jose Mourinho.

"We played against one of the biggest candidates to win the Champions League and we could have changed things around particularly in the second half but we didn't because of Mr Bonucci and Mr Chiellini who must go to Harvard University for central defenders.

"They have talent and quality all over the pitch and in the first half were in control because of that. We were more positive and aggressive in the second half but we had little on the bench to change the game.

"We knew from when the draw was made that us and Valencia would be fighting for second place and that is what we will do."
