Man Utd boss Ferguson tells Inter Milan to forget Evra

Inter Milan have dropped their bid for Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra.

Italian sources say Inter president Massimo Moratti chose to take Douglas Maicon off the market after being frustrated in a bid for Evra.

It's claimed United manager Sir Alex Ferguson refused to do business with Inter, informing Moratti that he sees Evra as his next club captain and could not consider losing the France international.
