Man Utd boss Ferguson still upset losing title to Blackburn

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits losing the 1994/95 title to Blackburn Rovers still hurts.

United went into the final game of the 1994-95 season at West Ham United on May 14 knowing victory would give them the title if Blackburn failed to win at Liverpool.

So when asked which game he would change in his 25 years as boss, Fergie is crystal clear.

He said: "The West Ham game, away, in 1995 when we drew 1-1.

"The referee missed a blatant penalty kick when their defender Tim Breacker punched the ball away. It was unbelievable.

"That was the one game I would change because we really deserved to win that day. It was agony, the mayhem around that goalmouth. It just wasn't for us. Fate goes different ways sometimes."
