Man Utd boss Ferguson satisfied with table position behind Chelsea

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson feels the Premiership race is still shaking itself out.

After victory over Blackburn Rovers last night, United face a massive showdown with Premiership leaders Chelsea this weekend.

Ferguson told MUTV: "We were disappointed last week after losing to Liverpool, but at this club you have to win your next game. It's the only thing you can do [to bounce back].

"We're experienced and we know how difficult it is to win the league and we know teams will make mistakes. Sometimes you lose games you don't expect to lose.

"You strive for consistency. If we get to January and we're still in a similar position then we have a great chance."
