Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is not ready to write off Gabriel Obertan.
The People says he has struggled to fit in at Manchester United since his arrival in 2009 and made just three league starts last season.
Former Red Devils' favourite Laurent Blanc said he was surprised when Obertan moved to Old Trafford from Bordeaux and the France legend questioned whether the winger was capable of performing at the highest level.
Ferguson is reluctant to sell the 22-year-old, but is open to a loan move before making a final decision on his future.
