Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has had a pop at Wolves over their treatment of former manager Dave Jones.
Jones is now in charge of Cardiff City and Ferguson, writing in his match programme notes for the Cup win over Wolves, said: "David Jones hauled the club back into contention when he was manager there and I felt their board could have shown him a bit more patience and loyalty because he was certainly moving them in the right direction.
"It was not to be, but at least they have got a good manager again in Mick McCarthy, a strong personality and an experienced football man. He is a down-to-earth guy, straight-talking, and players respond to him."
