Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has no doubts over Wayne Rooney's form.
Rooney has not scored since the second minute of the Champions League tie at Bayern Munich on March 30.
He has gone 1,076 minutes without a goal as he goes into Sunday's clash at Fulham.
But club gaffer Fergie said: "Wayne is one of the best strikers in the world. He is still young, still progressing and still learning.
"When players get to 26 or 27, that's when you start to see a mature player who is edging towards the peak of his powers. I hope we see that with Wayne."
