Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson expects to start their Champions League tie against Rangers with Rio Ferdinand in defence.
Ferdinand missed yesterday's 3-3 draw at Everton.
"I think Rio will play on Tuesday night," Ferguson said of the 31-year-old, who has been sidelined with a knee injury sustained in England's first training session in South Africa before the World Cup.
"It a European tie at home and we've got to take advantage of that."
