Man Utd boost as defensive pair fit for Europa League

Diogo Dalot and Victor Lindelof trained with Manchester United's senior squad on Saturday and are set to make the Europa League knockout stages.

United's players arrived at Carrington on Saturday morning for the last training session before jetting off to Cologne for their quarter-final clash with Copenhagen, says the Manchester Evening News.

Dalot had missed the last 16 second leg against LASK with injury, while Lindelof was a doubt as well and played no part in the 2-1 victory at Old Trafford.

But sources say both players, along with another doubt in Phil Jones, were in full training kit and arrived at the same time as the rest of the squad. Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe, who have not been named in United's 30-man squad for the rest of the Europa League squad, did not train as they continue their rehabilitation from injuries at home.

Shaw sustained an ankle injury in United's draw with Southampton in the Premier League last month, while Tuanzebe hasn't figured since the restart.
