Manchester United and Barcelona have taken a close look at Kuwaiti junior Sayed Abdullah Sulaiman.

The 14 year-old prospect has trialled with both European giants and is now set to commit to little Excelsior in Holland.

His Dad, Reda, explained: "He would make a difference for an entire generation. Kuwait has hardly a sporting culture, let alone football heroes.

"When Sayed was in Spain and England, Kuwait was in turmoil. He could not be calm on the street, everyone wanted something from him. Precisely this is why we chose a small club, he can settle better."
