Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was delighted with his side's attitude and character at Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.
United came from a goal down to defeat the Championship side 2-1 at Ewood Park in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
"The attitude of every player was really good and with a different attitude we would lose, because I think Blackburn were a good team," Mourinho told BT Sport and MUTV.
"They were better than Blackburn of the Championship. They had an amazing attitude and amazing belief.
"They gave us a really hard match and, I repeat, with a different attitude then I think we would have lost the match. So I am really happy with my players."
Goals form Marcus Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic did the job as the Red Devils booked their spot in the quarter-finals where they will meet Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
