Man Utd announce surprise Hojlund setback

Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has suffered an injury blow this week in training.

The Denmark attacker will miss two to three weeks of action with a muscle injury.

The £72 million summer signing has scored in six successive Premier League games.

A statement from the club read: "Rasmus Hojlund will miss Manchester United's Premier League game against Fulham on Saturday due to a muscle injury.

"It is expected to keep him out for two to three weeks."

Manager Erik ten Hag added to reporters: "It's a small injury, two or three weeks.

“It's the risk, playing high intensity. It's not a big injury but he has to wait for two or three weeks."
