Manchester United and Chelsea have opened talks over a fee for Mason Mount.
The England midfielder has agreed personal terms with United and is ready to move to Old Trafford.
The Guardian says talks heve now commenced between the two clubs over a fee.
Mount, 24, has 12 months remaining on his deal at Stamford Bridge and has been unable to agree on new terms with his boyhood club despite extensive talks, which included a meeting with co-owner Todd Boehly.
United hope to pay £50-60m for Mount. However, Chelsea are seeking at least £70m plus add-ons.
