Manchester United and Barcelona are inching closer to an agreement for Frenkie de Jong.
The Daily Mail says United are preparing a new offer for De Jong which is much closer to Barcelona's demands.
The new bid is 75 million euros plus variables, with Barcelona wanting 80m for the midfielder at least plus variables.
The Dutchman's posture is that he will stay at Barcelona but Erik ten Hag wants him in Manchester and they are focussed on securing the 25 year old's future.
The clubs are closer each day and an agreement could come sooner than expected. The key will then be convincing De Jong.
