The Mail on Sunday says the financial repercussions of likely exclusion from Europe's top club competition next season are already being felt. Corporate package sellers at Old Trafford are privately conceding that they may have to offer discount prices for season-tickets in 2014-15 as they cannot promise high-profile matches against the likes of Barcelona or Bayern.
United's website is already inviting people to discuss deals for buying boxes or matchday packages in various lounges next season, but tellingly have not put up a price list in case there is need for negotiation.
