According to the Manchester Evening News, United are assessing whether they can recall one or two players, if their loan deals are not going as planned.
Facundo Pellistri is one, as he has struggled for regular game time with Alaves in Spain.
United do want to get Amad Diallo out on loan, as an injury scuppered a summer loan for him.
