Manchester United are intensifying their interest in PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn.

De Telegraaf says United had scouts posted to watch the 21 year-old in PSV's 2-2 draw at FC Emmen on Sunday.

United chiefs are convinced by Bergwijn's potential and have watched the Holland international several times this season.

Inter Milan are also interested in the winger, though PSV insist he won't be allowed to leave this month.

However, there is now an acceptance at PSV they will lose Bergwijn in 2019.
