Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford will hold off on signing a new contract until the season concludes.

The England forward, who is enjoying an outstanding season for his club, is out of contract at the end of the 2023/2024 season.

The 25-year-old is expected to sign a new deal with United at some stage, as there is a real willingness from both parties to commit to each other.

However, The Sun states that Rashford will let the takeover situation at United play out before renewing.

The forward may want to judge the club's landscape before deciding to commit the best years of his career.

Bidders for United are currently in talks with the Glazer family through The Raine Group about purchasing the club.
