Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba admits growing up idolising Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard - and Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil.
The France World Cup winner has enjoyed a return to form at Old Trafford in recent weeks after a very public fall out with previous manager Jose Mourinho before the Portuguese was sacked.
Asked about his role models, Pogba told NBC: “When I was younger I was more attacking so I used to watch Ronaldinho, (Zinedine) Zidane, (Cristiano) Ronaldo, all those attacking players. Now I look at Kevin De Bruyne, (Luka) Modric, Toni Kroos.
“I try to be myself, always be myself, you know, and try to do things that… Steven Gerrard, (Mesut) Ozil, Frank Lampard, those players, what they did in their careers."
