Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is set to turn down an offer from Athletic Bilbao.

The Daily Mail says Herrera has one year left on his contract and is a target for a number of European sides.

The 28-year-old is happy at Old Trafford and wants to stay but knows he faces another fight for a place as United have added Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk and want to bring another midfielder too.

He is interested in a return to Spain and has been considered by Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in recent years.

But Herrera will try and make a final impact at United.
