Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has thanked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after Sunday's dismissal.
Among Solskjaer's final actions as United manager was pulling Fernandes away as his player defended him against angry fans following defeat at Watford.
Fernandes posted online: "As I said yesterday [Saturday], we are all to blame for the situation we are in.
"Considering everything you've done for me, a thank you will never be enough. I'm so grateful that you believed in me and that you gave me the opportunity to represent this club.
"I wish the best for you and your family."
