Carlos Tevez is expected to back down in his battle with Manchester City to play in Martin Palermo's testimonial.
The Daily Mail says the 27-year-old has been in Argentina since November without City's permission.
It is unlikely that he will go ahead with plans to play in a Saturday's testimonial for his former Boca Juniors team-mate Martin Palermo.
