Manchester City defender Karim Rekik has revealed that he will not be heading back to PSV Eindhoven on loan next season.

Rekik has been out on loan at PSV for the last two seasons and has made an important contribution in the Dutch side's fine Eredivisie win this term.

Despite Rekik flourishing into one of the finest young defenders in Holland during his time at PSV, it has now been revealed that City will be looking to loan out the 20-year old to a different league next season according to the player himself.

Rekik revealed: "Manchester City has a plan to loan me in a different league. Now I just enjoy the moment and we will see what happens next season. We will take time to handle it calmly and well."
