Man City youngsters becoming more comfortable around Pep Guardiola

Manchester City starlets Tosin Adarabioyo and Angelino admit that life under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola is getting easier every day.

The teenage pair featured in Guardiola's first game as City boss, which resulted in a 1-0 defeat to the Spaniard's former club Bayern Munich, and both spoke of the thrill of getting a chance to play for arguably the world's best football manager.

"He has spoken to everyone individually to try and help them in any way that he can and it's really coming along in the past two weeks he has been working with us," defender Adarabioyo told City TV.

"At first it could have been a bit intimidating because he is the world's best coach but it's very special for everybody, especially the young players who get to work with him.

"We all just want to perform as well as we can to impress the manager and do what we can do best."

Spanish left-back Angelino was also finding it easier each day to show his true colours under the guidance of such a big name.

"Every single day I'm enjoying every moment and I just don't want this to finish," he added.

"The first day I was a little bit nervous. Obviously he's been in massive clubs and now he is here with us at a big club as well but I'm just more relaxed every day and more comfortable with him.

"It's good to see that he is bringing a lot of young people to the (pre-season) tour and I think it's showing character that he doesn't care if you are young or old. If you are doing well, you'll get your chance."
