Manchester City youngster Paolo Fernandes is a target for new Kilmarnock boss Angelo Alessio.
The Scottish Sun says Alessio is keen to make the Spaniard one of his first signings.
Fernandes has spent the past two seasons on loan at Dutch side NAC Breda.
City are happy to loan him again with Kilmarnock at the front of the queue.
He joined City five years ago and has trained with Pep Guardiola's first-team squad in the past.
Rugby Park gaffer Alessio is aware of Fernandes from his time in England as Chelsea No2.
