Manchester City's Ahmad Benali is attracting interest from lower division clubs in England.
The 20-year old midfielder has developed in City's youth academy but is out of contract this summer and could be on his way to a lower league club, quite possibly in the Championship, with Burnley and Middlesbrough showing interest.
"Given that Ahmad is a very skilful player and his best position is as an attacking midfielder we are carefully assessing our options to ensure he goes to a team who will be suited to his style of play.
"There are a number of clubs to have expressed an interest, but we can't go into details at this point.""Ahmad had a disappointing time on loan at Rochdale and was unable to return to City until the January recall. Having returned to City he has got back in to his rhythm and been prolific over recent weeks in the Elite Development Squad," his agent Adam Bouskouchi confirmed to Sky Sports.
