Man City yet to receive any offers for want-away Tevez

Manchester City are not fielding any offers for want-away striker Carlos Tevez.

The Daily Star Sunday says it's understood that two of his intended destinations, Barcelona and Real Madrid, are not interested in splashing the £50million demanded by City.

That just leaves Inter Milan. But the Italians won't want to pay that kind of money, even for a player of Tevez's stature.

City don't have a date for Tevez's return and he won't be joining his team-mates on their US tour after the squad flew out to the States on Friday.

It's certain he will miss the start of the season but, when he finally jets back to the city he says he hates, it will be with his tail firmly between his legs.
