Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts has suffered an injury setback at Girona.
The 21-year-old winger started Girona's last six games, and had provided an assist against La Liga surprise package Alaves in their Copa Del Rey tie.
However, in the 21st minute of Girona's 2-1 win, Roberts was sent clear in a promising attack but immediately pulled up in agony and felt his hamstring as he looked to bear down on goal.
Roberts managed to hobble off, but Girona's Twitter account has since posted: 'Get well soon, Patrick! You'll come back stronger!'
Spanish media report Roberts has suffered a nasty-looking hamstring injury and could be out for the rest of 2018 at the very least.
