Manchester City winger Adam Johnson says he can handle his own media hype.

He insists he has no worries about being dubbed one of the new breed of potential England saviours.

"Since I was 17 or 18, I was always getting linked with clubs everywhere and the pressure was always on me," Johnson said.

"But I have tended to play better when I have pressure. I think with some players that happens."
