Lionel Messi has heaped enormous praise on Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden.

The Barcelona star, and arguably the greatest footballer of all time, was asked Topps Champions League cards to name his picks for 'Youth on the Rise' in world football.

The card series was designed specifically for Messi, which also includes cards on "Greatest Moments" of his career as well as "Top Talents".

Messi selected Foden as one of the top talents, as well as Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount and Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool.

Speaking on Foden, Messi said: "He will do amazing things in the game. He has huge talent."
