Newell's Old Boys midfielder Juan Sforza is on the radar of Manchester City.

An agent of Sforza has hinted that City scouts will be watching the 17-year-old in the upcoming Sudamericano U17s tournament in Peru.

Claudio Curti told Foot Mercato that PSG had in fact not come forward but “several European teams have inquired (in Italy, England and Spain in particular). They will supervise him during the Sudamericano."

Which suggests that City may well be at the tournament, which kicks-off today, to watch Sforza.

Curti confirmed that no offer had yet been made for his client and that Sforza is only concentrating on performing well in the Sudamericano.
