Man City turning to Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski after Kane failure

Manchester City are showing serious interest in Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

The Polish marksman is one of the most prolific goalscorers in Europe in the past few seasons.

He still has two years left on his contract with Bayern, but has not renewed his deal.

According to the Daily Mail, City are monitoring his situation with a view to making a move this summer.

The Citizens' primary targets are Harry Kane from Tottenham or Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland.

However, Lewandowski may be seen as a slightly more affordable alternative.
