Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is eyeing Fenerbahce striker Dani Guiza.
The People says City want four top strikers for their assault on the Premier League next season. They have signed Roque Santa Cruz to join Robinho at the club, while Carlos Tevez is due to follow shortly.
Guiza would be great business at only £12million, having failed to settle at Turkish side Fenerbahce after leaving Spain only a year ago.
The 28-year-old hitman was part of Spain's Euro 2008-winning side and has been linked with the Premier League in the past, but the interest has increased after he impressed during the recent Confederations Cup.
Zenit St Petersburg and Atletico Madrid are monitoring the situation.
