Pep Guardiola may use Manchester City defender Jason Denayer in an attempt to sweeten any deal laid before Arsenal for Alexis Sanchez.
The Sun reports that Guardiola is keen to reunite with Sanchez, who he worked with at Barcelona, and is willing to part with the Belgian in the process.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has continuously shunned speculation over Sanchez's departure, despite the Chilean's reluctance towards extending his contract beyond 2018.
Arsenal have enquired about Denayer – who has spent this season on loan at Sunderland - in the past, and with the 21-year old no longer in Guardiola's plans at City, it is reported that his inclusion may be enough to persuade the Gunners.
